About
Our Mission
Idaho Spay Neuter, Inc. (ISN) was founded in November 2024 when two local advocates recognized that the only real solution to the growing crisis of feral and domestic cats in Canyon County was access to high-quality, high-volume, affordable spay and neuter services.
Many people want to fix their cats but cannot due to cost or unavailable spay / neuter appointments. ISN was created to remove those barriers by building a dedicated clinic that will serve both rural and urban communities. Shortly after forming, ISN received federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, allowing us tax deducatable donations to begin fundraising for this lifesaving project.
Our future clinic will be capable of performing 13,500–15,000 spay / neuters per veterinarian each year, preventing thousands of unwanted litters and reducing suffering.
Right now, our focus is raising the funds needed to open the clinic doors. Saving for this facility is saving cats—the sooner we reach our goal, the sooner spay / neuters begin.
Join us in the solution to cat overpopulation and suffering.

Idaho Spay Neuter, Inc Board of Directors
Meet Our
Board of Directors
Here’s a glimpse of the incredible individuals dedicated to our mission. Their passion and expertise ensure every cat gets the care they deserve.

President - Diane Ayres
As President of the Board of Directors, Diane Ayres leads with a singular, unwavering focus: ending the cycle of cat overpopulation and suffering through accessible, high-quality, high-volume, affordable spay and neutering. Her work is rooted in the belief that spaying and neutering are the most humane, effective, and compassionate solutions to reduce suffering, prevent unwanted litters, and improve the lives of both owned and free-roaming cats across Idaho.
Diane is a tireless advocate for creating a high-quality, high-volume, affordable spay-and-neuter clinic dedicated to cats. She understands that without accessible surgical services, communities remain trapped in a cycle of overpopulation, shelter crowding, and preventable euthanasia. Her leadership is focused on building sustainable, long-term infrastructure that will allow tens of thousands of cats to be fixed over time—dramatically reducing intake, disease, and suffering.
Under her guidance, the organization prioritizes:
• Expanding access to affordable cat spay and neuter
• Supporting trap-neuter-return (TNR) for community cats
• Preventing litters before they are born
• Reducing the burden on shelters and rescues
• Creating a permanent clinic that serves both rural and urban areas
Diane’s vision is not just about surgery—it is about changing the future for cats in Idaho. Every fundraiser, partnership, volunteer effort, and public outreach campaign is driven by one clear goal: build the clinic and fix as many cats as possible, as quickly as possible, while maintaining the highest medical standards.
Her dedication, persistence, and compassion continue to move the mission forward—because for Diane, spay and neuter is not just a program, it is the solution.

Vice President - Michelle Glaze
Michelle Glaze is the person who never drives past an animal in need. Whether it’s a cat on the side of the road, a dog in danger, or livestock in need of urgent help, Michelle stops, steps in, and stays until the animal is safe.
Her vehicle has become a lifeline for countless animals across our community—often filled with carriers, supplies, and the next life she’s determined to save. She responds without hesitation, coordinating transport, securing medical care, and ensuring each animal reaches safety.
Michelle is also a passionate advocate for spaying and neutering, knowing that prevention is the key to ending suffering before it begins. She works tirelessly to ensure the animals she helps are not only rescued but also spayed or neutered so they do not contribute to the cycle of overpopulation. Her commitment to spaying and neutering reflects her belief that every animal deserves not just rescue, but a future.
Michelle’s tireless, hands-on dedication embodies the very heart of our mission: showing up, taking action, and making sure no animal is left behind. Her compassion, courage, and willingness to do whatever it takes have saved countless lives and inspired everyone around her.
As Vice President, Michelle brings that same determination to our leadership—advocating for animals who have no voice and helping guide our work to create real, lasting change.
We are deeply grateful for Michelle and the many lives she has saved—one rescue ride at a time.
